We ship to addresses in the United States: all 50 states and Washington, D.C. We don’t ship outside the US.
What shipping costs
Most of our gear ships to you directly from our suppliers’ warehouses. Each warehouse has a flat rate:
- Most items: $9.95 to $16.99 per shipment, plus $2 for each item.
- A few large or heavy items: $25.99 or $29.99 per shipment, plus $2 for each item.
- A small number of items ship free; checkout shows it when yours do.
For example, one headlamp from a $10.95 warehouse ships for $12.95, and two ship for $14.95.
If your order comes from more than one warehouse, each one charges its own rate, and your order may arrive in more than one box. Your cart and checkout show the exact shipping cost before you pay.
How long it takes
Most orders arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Orders ship by UPS, FedEx or USPS, depending on the warehouse. Your tracking number is in your shipping confirmation email and under your account.
Shipping to where you’re staying
Coming to Steamboat? You can ship your order to your hotel or rental. Most take guest packages, but check with your place before you order.
Ship-to-shop pickup
On orders of $500 or more (the subtotal after coupons, before tax and shipping), you can choose ship-to-shop pickup at checkout at no charge. We ship your order to our shop at 1320 Dream Island Plaza, Steamboat Springs, and call you when it’s in. We hold it for 10 days. Bring a photo ID. It’s handy for heavy or bulky gear, or if you’re coming to town.
Damaged, lost or wrong items
If a package arrives damaged, goes missing, or isn’t what you ordered, call us at (970) 879-7565 or email info@elkriversports.com. Keep the box and packing until we’ve sorted it out.
Returns
You can return unused items within 30 days of delivery. See our returns policy.
